Welcome back to the Public Relations Student Society of America UGA Drewry Chapter! PRSSA is excited to get the ball rolling and has many exciting speakers coming this fall. 

What is PRSSA? 

PRSSA is a pre-professionalism club that encourages students to network with speakers and peers, ask questions about their future careers and build confidence in making decisions toward their future. Our meetings will include pre-professionalism workshops, speaker insights, opportunities to ask questions and projects to build your portfolio. PRSSA is open to all majors and can be valuable to students across schools interested in communication. Membership is open this fall until November 1st and there is another opportunity to become a member in the spring. 

How can I get involved? 

PRSSA offers many ways to get involved and serve in a leadership position. Committee applications are open now and close on September 17th and interviews will be held the following week. From serving on a committee you will develop portfolio pieces, learn about different facets of PRSSA, and make friends with your peers. Committees you can apply to are member relations, public relations, event planning, social media, content, and DEI/outreach. Joining a committee is a great way to grow your resume and leadership experience within a Grady organization. 

What can I expect for the upcoming semester? 

PRSSA meets every other Tuesday at 6:30 pm in Grady Studio 100. Our first few meetings will include speakers and pre-professionalism workshops as a resource for those attending. Further along in the semester, we will offer panels, ADPR connection prep and much more! We hope to see you all there! Go DAWGS!
