On Dec. 3, PRSSA members met for the annual Holiday Social. The festivities began with members gathering gifts for the Angel Project. Then, five teams played in a game of Jeopardy. Members spent the rest of the social networking while decorating cookies and drinking hot chocolate.
Each year, PRSSA chooses to sponsor at least two children in the foster care system through the Angel Project for the holiday season. This year we had the pleasure of sponsoring Cheyanne and Timmy. They will receive soccer balls, jackets, pajamas, legos and more as Christmas presents.
During Jeopardy, members showed off their knowledge of UGA traditions, Athens restaurants, UGA sports, and PRSSA trivia. PRSSA member Caroline Price said, “This was my favorite part of the evening because I got to meet new people in my major and share experiences from the semester.”
