DESCRIPTION:Committee applications are open!\nBefore applying please read through the committee descriptions to make sure you are applying for the position you have the biggest passion for and are excited to be a part of. When you are ready\, please fill out the online application. \nMember Relations\nThis committee will focus on increasing the engagement of members through incentives and creating innovative ideas to bring the chapter closer together and more welcoming. The Member Relations Committee will also assist with the recruitment of new members during the fall and spring semester. \nOutreach (Fundraising & Networking)\nThis committee will focus on connecting our members to each other and to the Athens community. With this being the first year of this committee we will be growing the roles and responsibilities throughout. \nContent\nThis committee is the new form of our publications committee. The focus will be on creating written content. In the past the content has included feature stories\, member spotlights\, industry news\, and any others you and your committee may have. \nSocial Media\nOur Social Media committee will work closely with E-Board to ensure PRSSA has a strong presence on social media platforms. The main responsibilities of this committee are to post social media content\, help run the social pages and blog\, creating original content\, and running social media campaigns. \nPublic Relations\nThis committee is responsible for all things public relations. The main responsibilities will be creating graphics\, fliers\, press releases\, monitoring our organization’s media relations\, and working closely with the Social Media committee to ensure a unified presentation of our organization and important events. \nEvent Planning\nAs Event Planning Committee Head you will be responsible for planning and executing the bi-weekly meetings\, senior banquet\, and collaborating with the Outreach Committee. \nIf you have any questions during the application process please feel free to email Kat Blanchard\, kmb50397@uga.edu \n**** The application will close on September 17th at midnight.
