This year’s executive board is so glad that the school year is finally up and running. We are super excited to begin our positions and help serve the Drewy chapter. Each of these ladies are going to be amazing leaders for PRSSA and the Grady College as a whole. We are so proud of their accomplishments and excited to see what’s to come this year.

Emily Goncalves is serving as this year’s President of PRSSA. She is a senior majoring in public relations and is minoring in public policy & management. Additionally, Emily is pursuing a certificate in public affairs. This is Emily’s second year serving on the executive board; last year she served as the Digital Media Director. Fun fact: Emily studied abroad in Paris for two months after her freshman year! We recommend studying abroad to anyone who is considering it; it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. It’s a great way to make friends, get involved in different cultures and expand your knowledge.

Lena Soenke is serving as Vice President of PRSSA this year. She is a senior advertising major who is pursuing a certificate in new media and a minor in general business. This is Lena’s second year on PRSSA’s executive board; last year she served as the Director of Finance. Fun fact: Lena is the third advertising major that has served as vice president in a row. She met one of her best friends through PRSSA who served as the vice president last year. Joining different clubs and organizations is a great way to make lifelong friends that have similar interests and goals.

Rachael Jones is serving a second year as the Public Relations Director for PRSSA. Rachael is a senior public relations and English double major. Fun fact: Rachael’s favorite type of food is Mediterranean and she got to run Taziki’s social media! It is super important to get involved early and get as much experience as you can. This helps differentiate you from other candidates when applying to a job. It’s even better when you get involved with an organization or company that you already love.

Raynor Manley is serving as the Director of Content. Raynor is a junior majoring in public relations and pursuing minors in general business and communication studies. Fun fact: Raynor participated in UGA’s Mentor Program and became good friends with her mentor. Raynor’s mentor provided her with valuable advice, tips for going into the PR field and even offered her an internship! College is all about networking and the UGA Mentor Program is a great way to expand yours. It’s important to take advantage of all the programs and resources UGA offers.

Sarah Dorr is serving as this year’s Director of Internal Communications. Sarah is a junior public relations major who is also pursuing certificates in new media and public affairs communication. Fun fact: Sarah is currently working as the digital communications intern for UGA Alumni, mainly creating content for their TikTok. There are so many amazing on-campus internship opportunities like this for ADPR students. We recommend signing up for different email listservs because they are always sending out internship and job opportunities, as well as information panels and job fairs you can attend.

Taylor Tuscai is serving as the Director of Member Relations. Taylor is a junior public relations major who is also pursuing minors in Spanish and general business. Fun fact: Taylor is also a Dance Dawg! UGA offers so many clubs and extracurricular activities and it’s so fun to get involved and truly make the best of your UGA experience. It’s important to stay active in college and it’s so easy to, even if it’s just going for a walk with your roommates.

Morgan Wiese is serving as this year’s Director of Finance. Morgan is a senior public relations major who is pursuing a minor in theatre as well as a certificate in new media. Fun fact: Morgan is currently raising a guide dog named Rudy H! She volunteers as a puppy raiser with the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind. There are so many philanthropic organizations you can get involved with on campus and it’s so rewarding to give back to your community. It’s important to be well-rounded and get involved with organizations outside of your major as well.

Dolores Trobradovic is serving as the Digital Media Director this year. Dolores is a junior double majoring in public relations and international affairs. She is also pursuing minors in German and fashion merchandising. Fun fact: Dolores lived in Germany for four years and can speak four languages. It’s important to establish skills that will differentiate you in the job search. While you probably won’t speak four languages like Dolores, you can get Google Analytics certified, be an ambassador for your college or anything else that peaks your interest.
